I had a wonderful Mother's Day! The celebration started yesterday when we had a Mexican Fiesta at my parent's house. The food was delicious and I was so stuffed. It was great to spend time with my parents and Tiff and Martin.Today, Joe let me sleep in and took Leo to the grocery store to do the weekly shopping. He then made us breakfast burritos with egg, green chile and sausage....yummy! Joe continued to let me take it easy and did not let me lift a finger. We finished the day with a walk at a local park and a fine dinner of grilled hamburgers and home fries. Leo and Daddy even bought me cards and beautiful flowers. I love being a mommy and it is amazing that there is a day that celebrates that!
