32 weeks Pregnant...Everything's Growing!

32 weeks pregnant with Rosalie Jane.

Belle, our people loving tadpole staring at Leo.

Our budding fashion designer!

First Sleepover!

Everything's growing! Rosalie is growing, the garden is growing, the kids are growing up, the tadpoles are growing legs, my soap business is growing. Spring must be here!

Our new and exciting arrival to the family this week are 2 new tadpoles named Toby and Belle. We acquired them at Camille Park and they have become family pets ever since. Toby is more active and seems to have more survival instincts. His legs are growing faster and he is more likely to try new developmental things first. Our sweet Belle is in love with Joe. She follows his voice and is very curious about humans. We just love these guys.

Somerset is still out budding fashion designer. Her Play-Doh dress creations are amazing. She is still Play-Doh crazy and will play with it forever. It is super messy, but it is worth it.

Leo's math abilities continue to amaze us. Here is a math question I asked him the other day:

Me: Leo, I made 6 batches of soap, and each batch is 8 bars, how many bars of soap?
Leo:48
Me: If I make $5 a bar, how much money will I make?
Leo: After a few minutes, he answered, $240

He is AMAZING!!!

Rosalie is my little roller. Leo was my kicker, Somerset was my stretcher and Rosalie is my roller. She is moving so much now! I can't wait to meet her. I am really nesting over her arrival. The kids switched rooms and are very happy. I am thrilled to have this move complete. I am also buying Rosalie little cloth diapers. They are the cutest thing ecer, and I really hope we can make cloth diapers work for us.

Leo had his first sleepover ever!!! Donovan came over and the kids all had a blast. Everyone was relatively well behaved and I was so thrilled that Leo got to spend time with his best pal.

I also started my first week at the Sherwood Farmer's Market.  The market was small, but easy to set up. It is only a 4 hour commitment. I didn't make as much money as I would have liked, but I think things will pick up. I had fun!

Joe has planted a vegetable garden. He has gotten the kids involved and everyone is enjoying the process. Both Somerset and Leo have been god helpers and are excited to eat the harvest.

So Much to be Proud of

Our little ones sure make us proud. Let's start with our first born:

Leo: He literally had his mom and teacher crying at his teacher conference...tears of joy! I confessed that I didn't feel his preschool teacher appreciated him and she so saddened by this. She said she is not suppose to have favorites, but that Leo was one of her favorite students ever and that he is very special and she foresees his doing amazing things in life. I agree whole heartily. Our boy impresses us more and more each day, He is reading Magic Tree House chapter books (2nd grade level). He easily adds problems like: 453 + 513 in his head. He understands multiplication and division instinctively.

I have been focusing on doing 30 minutes with of homework with him in exchange for 30 minutes phone time (Clash of the Clans). He either reads with me or does math. I am guessing that he is easily at a second grade level with his math and reading knowledge and he just keeps growing exponentially with his knowledge. I am continually amazed by his intelligence, sensitivity and generous spirit. He is so funny, charismatic, confident and loving. I feel beyond blessed to have him as my son.

Somerset: Our Somerset has blossomed. She is so funny, creative, smart and spunky. She is play-doh obsessed. She will watch video demos on play-doh for hours. She creates play-doh fashions for her dolls, makes cupcakes, cookies etc. She is also great at pretend play. Dr. Somerset takes great care of Daddy and offers him coffee with sugar and tea. She also like to play sick kitty where she plays vet to the sick kitty (Daddy or Mommy).

She loves teasing Leo about girlfriends and has no shame about liking boys and wanting to kiss the and get married. Potential suitors include Donovan, Lee and Braden. She also has become good friends with Simon, who she enjoys playing house with.

Somerset loves the movie Frozen. She does a very special Frozen Dance to "Let it Go" and delights us all. She also likes to dress up like a princess and often sports a tiara and princess dress at church.

Her drawings continue to be amazing! She has a real knack for drawing people and they always bring a smile to our face. Note to self: Take more photos of her amazing drawing!!!

Every morning, Joe has been writing an email to the kids. Somerset's often has an animated gif of a My Little Pony. She loves this. She is also still very much into My Little Ponies and even does a Fluttershy voice.

Rosalie: Rosalie is also making us very proud. A few weeks back, I measured 1 centimeter smaller, so Dr. Krishna ordered another ultrasound (30 weeks).  The good news is, Rosalie measured at 72% (3 pounds and 5 ounces) and is thriving. She also appears to have some luscious locks. Her her was waving in the her amnioyic fluid, so I will be sure to bring a brush to the hospital.

I have been having crazy pregnancy dreams. They are always so vivid and are not always, but often filled with anxiety. I think a lot of it is just wanting to feel fully prepared for her arrival. I am looking forward to those ending!

She seems to be a gentle and sweet baby. She never has hurt me and she is active, but not aggressive with her movements. She doesn't like when I ever get too much on my belly when I am sleeping. She is always sure to kick me when I have made her uncomfortable. We can't wait to meet her.

Leo Turns 6!

My sweet boy turned 6! I couldn't be more proud of him. Here is a recap of a few highlights from Leo's 5th year:

1) Leo learned to Read
2) Leo learned to ride a Bike
3) Leo started Kindergarten, was tested for TAG
4) Leo learned to play Chess
5) Became obsessed with Pokemon
6) Started Multiplication
7) Leo played on a T-Ball team

What an amazing year! He also had a fantastic birthday!

On Leo's actual birthday, I took the kids to Papa's Pizza and our friends, Ryan, Ellie, Jake and Amber met us there. The kids played hard for 3 hours. Afterwards, My mom and Dad met us at the house to give Leo his gifts (Star Wars Leogo set and clothes). For dinner, we went to Mc Donalds....what a Leo day!

For Leo's party, we let Chuck E. Cheese do all the work, which was well worth it. Leo invited Drew, Ryan, Forest, Donovan and Chase. Uncle Aaron and Kaylee, Aunt Tiffany, Uncle Martin, Baby Aria and Grandma also joined in on the fun.

Leo loved the Ticket Blaster. He invited Uncle Aaron to join him and in true Leo fashion, he scored the 1,000 point ticket. That's my boy!

Leo was blessed with many amazing gifts including Pokemon cards, a rock tumbler, Lego sets, and skateboard, games, clothes and money....what a great day!

24 weeks and a Big Milestone

24 weeks Pregnant with Rosalie Jane

My Mommy necklace

Baby Aria and her Uncle (my cute husband)

The lopsided cake started sliding in the car when my mom brought it over!

Birthdays! They can be fun, but I always just hope to get through the day without contemplating getting older too much. This year was a big one....40! I sure don't feel it though, so that is why it is especially difficult to swallow, plus, I am pregnant.

I received a beautiful necklace from Joe with our kid's names. I love it! It even has the new baby's name on it, so I guess there is no turning back!

I love all that I was given. I feel so special. Somerset picked out some beautiful antique looking purple earrings, that she selected herself. That made her gift extra special. Leo bought me red roses, as well as my mom. I was also blessed with gift cards and money. I really want a jogging stroller, but Joe doesn't want me to use my money in that way. I am so fortunate not to have too many wants, so I am happy to buy a jogging stroller!

Tonight, my parents, sister, Martin and Aria came over for what was suppose to be a surprise. Surprises don't really suit me, so I am happy that Martin and my Mom spilled the beans.  We had a lovely lasagna dinner and beautiful cake. Makes turning older a little sweeter.

23 Weeks Pregnant

22 weeks Pregnant

Yeah! Leo can read to the little ones now!

When there is a snow storm, you should take every stuffed animal in the house and stack them to make a human landing pad.

I finally popped! As Joe stated, "one day I didn't look pregnant, and then all of the sudden you did!" It happened right at the 21/22 week mark.

There have been many days at home. Between all the snowy weather, and me being sick with a cold for almost a week now, I am getting cabin fever. The only Morris that has escaped this cold completely is dear Leo. The poor dude is probably getting pretty sick of being cooped up so long, but that leaves plenty of time for reading Magic Tree House books. He are on book #10 and knowing Leo, we will complete the whole series this year. He just reads now and it is amazing!

Somerset continues to be hilarious. She like to tell jokes and make her family laugh. She also loves role playing. Today I was the teacher and she was the student almost all day. She also is Play-Doh obsessed! We bought her a Play-Doh cupcake making set and she has spent hours making desserts for us. She also loves watching "kids cooking shows," which entails adults, describing and demonstrating how to use Play-Doh prducts. These You Tube videos get million of hits people!!!! Crazy!!!

Our kids caught the fever and made tried their own hand at You Tube fame:

Leo's Pokemon Video
Somerset's Baking Show

 Aren't they the cutest?

They sure do love there baby sister who Somerset likes to call Rosie. They often talk to my belly and Leo will ask her if she is "having fun swimming in there."  I do feel baby girl move everyday. I sense that she is calm and sweet. I think er temperament will be more mellow than the other kids based on her time in my belly, although this could just be wishful thinking!!!

I think half the reason I am posting is because I got some really adorable photos of my sweet Somerset.

Unfortunately, we had a snow storm. Normally this would be fun and exciting, but unfortunately, today was suppose to be the big day for baby girl's 20 week ultrasound. I really wanted to see her and make sure is doing fine, but I will have to wait....boo! Luckily I feel her everyday, in fact, she just fluttered a bit (she must know that I am writing about her!). Anyhow, I am wondering if she has the cute ski-slope nose like the other 2 kids.  I am sure that she is healthy and adorable!

We started really working on table manners with our little savages. We say grace before dinner, and Somerset's prayer is always the same, "Thank you God. Thank you for this food. Thank you for everyone not get sick." Her sweet little prayer has worked like a charm because our family is so darn healthy and has escaped all the illnesses that many others have had this season.

Somerset is so funny! She tells jokes and makes goofy faces.with her sense of humor and completely adorable face, she will be a heart breaker.

Leo is reading at a second grade level and his comprehension is amazing. Some of his books have quizzes at the end, and he gets all the questions right. He really remembers far more than I do. He is really remarkable. As always, he tests us with his behavior and is quick t react/has a difficult time controlling anger and frustration, but he has been well behaved the last month. Leo is extremely driven and has a competitive spirit that is foreign to Joe. Joe and I both feel that this desire to achieve will take Leo far, he just needs to learn to control his emotions.

We are all so excited for baby #3. I know that all children are so special is their own way. I am just excited to see how she is special. After Leo, I couldn't imagine loving another child as much, but then Somerset came along and I loved her sooo much! This baby girl will be entering a family that already loves her so much!

19 Weeks Pregnant....Again!

19 weeks with Baby Girl

19 weeks with Somerset

19 weeks with Leo
Here we go again! It sure is fun to compare the baby bumps at 19 weeks. Looks like I am right on track, even thought everyone thinks I look so small. I am feeling great and taking Zumba a weight training classes. I am thrilled to be feeling alive again...the first trimester was brutal!
